There was an impressive turnout for the 'Celebrating Stockbridge' event last week at the Lifecare Centre - marking 100 years of history in this vibrant corner of the town.
I spoke to Su Millar the Chief Exec of Lifecare who was blown away by the numbers - she was kept her very busy trying to supply the many with teas and coffees.
We watched 'Our Stockbridge' which was a charming intergenerational film project - kids from Stockbridge primary told childhood tales gathered from older Stockbridge residents, bringing their anecdotes to life through contemporary children's voices.
The film was accompanied by an exhibition of Stockbridge's history, a children's craft area and of course lots and lots of tea and cake. A lovely, fun event reaching people of all ages and bringing community together.
